Graduated form Stuyvesant high School, spent one year at Grinnell College, then got a BFA in Illustration and cartooning from the School of visual arts.
I do commissions. My specialties are medieval and other historical subject and Silver-Bronze Age style comic book art in pencil and ink. I also do oil and acrylic portraits and illustrative and still-life paintings
Published "Watch This Space," a publication of varying formats, off-and on, over the years.
Also a filmmaker, musical entertainer, writer. I am currently working on a definitive history of the many superheroes named "Captain Marvel" (www.captainmarvelculture.com)

A lot has happened since my last journal entry. I have fought in two medieval combat world championships, tore my ACL in a tournament in Ontario, Canada...
...got and was laid off from jobs in the insurance industry twice, worked for several comic book conventions, and now am prepping to go to Malbork, Poland, to be the on-air commentator for the streaming broadcast of the International Medieval Combat Federation World Championships and direct the production of a documentary of the USA team over there.
That video will be called "American Knights," and here is a little video about that project...
...and to raise funds for it I have produced
